CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT
Chiropractic physicians offer effective manipulation, physiotherapy and specific adjustments to the spine and bone to unlock or relocate patient’s bone and ligament. So the body is able to heal from the stress and damage.

Sometime the joints may make a small pop sound when receiving an adjustment. It is perfectly normal. The joint get a release.


THERAPY
For better and faster results, advanced therapy may be applied to patients, if needed. We use Ultrasound, Musclestim, Infrared, Intersegmental Traction Table, Hydroculator, Lumber/Cervical Decompression to accelerate the repair of tissue. Faster recovery means patients save money and their health.

Ultrasound is sound vibration, as fast as a million times per second, which penetrate the tissues deep in the body creating a heat response. Ultrasound is used to increase the blood flow to the affected area to accelerate the healing process. It does relax muscle spasms and massages the damaged tissues as well.

Musclestim is a special form of electrical current that is used over soft tissue injury, especially muscles, for blocking of pain. Musclestim helps decrease swelling, reduces pain and speeds the healing process. Our computerized Musclestrim equipment can perform many different tasks for various conditions.

Infrared promotes soft tissue healing.

Intersegmental traction table induces passive motion into the spine for the purpose of stretching spinal joints, and increasing mobility. Discs have a poor blood supply. They get nutrients from the circulation of fluids surrounding spinal joints. This table helps increase and restore necessary elasticity and motion to the spine.

Hydroculator is used to increase blood flow to the affected area to accelerate the healing process. Heat is also used to relax tissues and temporarily relieve pain symptoms.

Lumber/Cervical Decompression is a effective treatment to treat herniated disc, neck pain, stenosis problems. Each treatment will take from 20 to 30 minutes. It take average 20 visits to achieve great result. This is last hope for some patients before they scheduled for surgery. Our office only charges a fraction of those in big cities.

REHABILITATION
Rehabilitation is used to rebuild patient’s muscle and ligaments to avoid reoccurrence of injury. The healing and rebuild goes hand in hand. It has proven to be very beneficial to our patient. They save patients' money in the future. And most importantly it may save the body from reoccurrences of injury.

Dr. Betty Lok went through four years of extra training to be an Orthopedic Chiropractor. She also qualifies on casts fractures at an affordable cost.

 Dr. Betty Lok is internationally certified in Impairment and Disability Rating. She rates patient's permentent damage for legal and medical requirement.
